First Annual West Allis Ala Carte
The rain came and went, and as the sky cleared the first annual West Allis Ala Carte opened for business. Fun was had by all and the event showed enough promise, despite the earlier weather conditions, to promote immediate planning for next year's Ala Carte!

Special thanks go out to:
All of those vendors and exhibitors that stuck it out - we hope to see you again next year.
The incredible group of volunteers without whom it could not have happened. The large amount of setting up, operation and clean-up was done in a super efficient manner that not everyone sees. Even the members of the opening band, Broken, helped out by holding down the tent on the stage that was threatening to whisk several volunteers off to Oz.
The bands for putting on amazing performances that provided those in attendance with a special musical treat.
An extra special thanks to those event coordinators that had the patience and foresight, in the midst of a Greenfield Avenue monsoon, to resist the temptation to cancel. Closely monitoring the weather forecasts as they got soaked out on the street, it was their decision to delay making a cancellation call until 12:30 that saved the day.
The sun, for making a guest appearance in an otherwise rain-soaked week-end. The sun ALWAYS shines on events run by the Downtown West Allis Business Improvement District! See you at the car show in October!
And a big "Thank You" to our generous sponsors!
